Um dos eventos musicais mais importantes do ano, a Billboard Music Awards 2021 aconteceu na noite deste domingo (23) em Los Angeles, nos Estados Unidos. Apresentada por Nick Jonas, a cerimônia premiou aqueles que mais se destacaram durante o ano.
The Weeknd liderou as indicações, concorrendo em 16 categorias, incluindo melhor artista, melhor artista masculino e melhor artista Hot 100. O cantor, que venceu o prêmio de Melhor Artista do ano, levou outros oito prêmios para casa, entre os quais Melhor Artista Masculino e Melhor Artista de R&B.
A grande surpresa da noite foi a apresentação dos coreanos do BTS com sua nova música, “BUTTER”. A linda Alicia Keys celebra os 20 anos do álbum “Songs In A Minor” com uma performance de medley de músicas históricas. A cantora Pink apresentou-se e foi a homenageada na noite com o Icon Award.
